AKINCI UHA-230 Hits Target With Supersonic Missile

Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA managed to hit its target with full accuracy during its firing with the UHA-230 Supersonic Ballistic Missile. Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA was developed nationally and originally within the scope of a project carried out under the leadership of the Ministry of Defense Industry. The test launch with the nationally developed UAV-230 Missile by Roketsan was also successfully completed.
The UHA-230 missile occupies an important place as Turkey's first air-to-ground supersonic missile. This missile was developed nationally by Roketsan and achieved successful results in a test launch on March 2, 2024. Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA managed to hit a point at a long distance over the Black Sea with its test shot at Sinop Shooting Range with full accuracy.
It is noted that the test shots of the UAV-230 have been successfully completed and is currently in the mass production phase. This missile has the ability to quickly neutralize targets in the 100-150 kilometer band, especially air defense targets, at a speed several times above the sound.
In addition, information was shared that the UHA-230 was exported for the first time within the scope of AKINCI TİHA export to Saudi Arabia by Baykar.
The UAV-230 Air-to-Ground Ballistic Supersonic Missile was developed by Roketsan. This missile was developed with the experience of rockets and missiles used in multi-barrel rocket launcher systems. The effective range of the UAV-230 is 150 kilometers, although it varies depending on the speed and altitude at which it is released. The missile has a particle effective warhead, and there are options for armor-piercing or thermobaric warhead.
