Pegasus and TEV Join Forces to Offer University Scholarships to 1,000 Female Students

Pegasus Airlines and the Turkish Education Foundation (TEV) have joined forces to launch the "Pegasus Every Step to the Future Scholarship Fund" project, which aims to provide university scholarships to 1,000 female students in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey.

The signing ceremony for the project took place on February 20, 2024, at the Pegasus Airlines Headquarters, where Pegasus CEO Güliz Öztürk and TEV General Manager Banu Taşkın formalized this meaningful collaboration.

Under the project, students will receive scholarship support starting from the 2023-2024 academic year and continuing until they complete their university education. 25% of the scholarships will be allocated to students from cities affected by the February 2023 earthquake disaster.

In addition to the scholarships, students will benefit from a range of holistic support, including:

• Mentorship from Pegasus executives
• Internship opportunities within the company
• Exposure to different career paths in the aviation sector
• Participation in aviation-related sessions and seminars organized for women

"In line with our belief in gender equality, we have been carrying out various initiatives for years. This project, which we are realizing with TEV on the 100th anniversary of the Republic, aims to support the university education of 1,000 female students. Additionally, our 25% quota for regions affected by the earthquake reflects our spirit of solidarity," said Pegasus CEO Güliz Öztürk.

This collaboration with Pegasus offers our female scholarship holders multifaceted support beyond financial aid," stated TEV General Manager Banu Taşkın.
