KC-390 Millennium Transport Aircraft The new generation twin-turbofan jet-engined KC-390 Millennium transport aircraft developed by Embraer has been ordered by Brazil, the Netherlands, Portugal and Hungary to this day. The project, in which Aero Vodochody from the Czech Republic and the British BAE Systems participated as subcontractors, had been discussed for a period of time regarding the participation of the US Boeing, but they ended negatively. The KC-390, which can carry a load of up to 26 tons, is powered by two IAE V2500-E5 turbofan jet engines, which are also used in A320 passenger aircraft.. The aircraft with a high wing design is capable of landing and taking off on both soft and dirty runways thanks to landing gear with low-pressure tires.
